The US$22 Million project comprises design and construction of a 27,000 sq-ft New Office Annex (NOX), a 4,000 sq-ft single storey Service CAC new security perimeter walls. Both buildings are comprised of cast-in-place reinforced concrete frames designed to withstand blast and seismic loading. The anti-ram perimeter walls were a combination of cast-in-place reinforced concrete and steel picket fence.
PCB International’s involvement included review and value engineering on behalf of the Contractor, preparation of all reinforced concrete details and shop drawings. These included bar placement layouts, bar lists, bar bending schedules as well as material take-off for all reinforcing steel for the project. All work was carried out in compliance with the ACI seismic detailing requirements.
